House music producer, DJ, rapper, and model Sam Blacky just released a new banger, “Body,” following on the heels of “Too Late,” via Stabby Records.
Originally from San Diego, now based in Los Angeles, Sam spent time in Australia, where she immersed herself in production and live performances. She exploded on the music scene with the release of her EP, Boystown.

Sam’s blends funk, house, techno, and tribal music into a tasty driving concoction traveling from the underground and burner niches to garnering beaucoup international fans. She’s performed at Miami’s Music Week, as well as bashes in the jungles of Vietnam and Guatemala.
In addition, Sam’s video series, entitled A New World, highlights exotic locations throughout the world, along with Sam’s mesmerizing music. So far, the series has put the spotlight on Hannah, Casitas Maraika, Vagalume, and Sian Ka’an.
“Body” opens on tribal rhythmic pulses topped by whispered layers of dazzling voices and then moves into a pulsating, driving techno-house beat galvanized by a thrumming bassline capped by dreamy waves of synths. Luminous accents imbue the tune with lusters of quasi-vocal harmonies, giving the lyrics rippling surfaces.
