Nick Ball has been labelled a 'mini Mike Tyson' by boxing fans and he showed why in his fight with Isaac Lowe.

The pair clashed last year on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium and it did not end well for Lowe, who is a friend and training partner of 'The Gypsy King'.

Ball stands at just 5ft 2in tall, giving Lowe a five inch height advantage, but what the Liverpudlian lacks in size, he makes up for in ferocity.

He has an extremely aggressive, come-forward style and Lowe could not cope with this as he found himself down on the canvas in round two.

And things only got worse from there, as Lowe was cut in round three and his face was covered in blood.

But, Ball refused to slow down and continue piling on the pressure until he eventually broke his opponent in round six.

With Lowe battered and bruised, ringside footage shows Ball throwing him up against the ropes.

At this point, Lowe clearly didn't want to be there anymore, as he cowered in the corner, but Ball showed no mercy and unleashed a crushing left hook that buckled the legs of his opponent.

Ball then took a step back, almost as if he was expecting the referee to stop the fight, but when he didn't, 'mini Mike Tyson' came back for more, landing another three heavy punches.

And this was enough to convince the referee, as he separated the two men, waving off the contest and handing the victory to Ball.

Since then, Ball has had three more fights, winning them all by KO and on Saturday night he takes on former world champion Isaac Dogboe at Manchester Arena, as he closes in on a world title shot of his own in the featherweight division.
