A popular candy bar has been permanently removed from supermarket shelves, leaving fans of the treat furious.
Cadbury-owned company Europe confirmed to news.com.au the Sesame Bar has been scrapped.
A spokesperson for the company said sales for the seedy sweet were “very low”.
“Like many manufacturers, we regularly review our product range to ensure we’re delighting Aussies with the best tasting snacks – enduring favourites and investing in new technology and manufacturing capabilities to produce exciting new innovations,” a spokesperson said.
“The decision was made recently to discontinue the 45g Europe Sesame Bar.”

Popular food blogger Russ Eats revealed the news in a video shared to social media on Tuesday.
The foodie’s post has attracted over 56,000 views on TikTok, with many social media users outraged by the news.
“No... I live off these,” one said.
“This is a travesty. Highlight of my primary school lunch order!” another wrote.
“NOOOO THESE SLAP I’m so mad, these are always in my work bag,” a third said.
“I’m very disappointed in Australia now. Everything good is gone,” a fourth wrote.
Russ, who has over 69,000 followers on TikTok, previously revealed that Macca’s axed Sprite from its menu and replaced it with the “no sugar” version.
McDonald’s confirmed the news exclusively to news.com.au, explaining the burger giant was looking forward to “hearing customer feedback on the new beverage option”.
Some social media users expressed their thoughts and appeared angry about the move.
