Celebrities Who Deserve to Be in Prison

Prison can be a very cold and scary place. In fact, the idea of spending time behind bars is enough to keep most people on the straight and narrow. However, many celebrities will never have to experience what it’s liked to be locked away – no matter how many laws they break. That’s right, it’s no secret that stars are often treated differently, even in the eyes of the law. Although there have been several instances of celebrities committing horrible crimes, most of them have gotten off with very little legal action. Over the years, there have been plenty of high-profile cases involving some pretty big names, and some of them have had some pretty interesting results. Here are 10 celebrities who deserve to be in prison right now.

Rebecca Gayheart

Rebecca Gayheart On The Red Carpet

Actress, Rebecca Gayheart, may not be a household name, but several years ago she almost became one for something that had absolutely nothing to do with her career. In 2001, Gayheart struck and killed a nine-year-old boy who was crossing a street in Los Angeles. Although she was sentenced to three years of probation, she didn’t actually serve any prison time.

Michael Jace

Michael Jace is best known for his role on the FX series, The Shield, in which he played a police officer. However, in 2014, he found himself on the other side of the law when he called 911 after a domestic dispute and told the operator that he had just shot his wife. When police arrived on the scene, they found his wife, April, dead, and he was charged and arrested for the murder. Jace confessed to the crime, and is currently awaiting trial.

Jared Fogle

Fortunately in this case, Fogle will be in prison in a few months. However, the recent accusations against him are making people wish they would put him under the prison – NOW. In July, it was revealed that Fogle had had sexual involvement underage girls, and had also accessed child pornography. Subway has since dissolved their relationship with Fogle, and when he is released from prison he will have to register as a sex offender.

Josh Duggar

Milions of people across the country were shocked when Josh Duggar of 19 Kids and County was accused of sexual assault. As part of one of America’s most well-liked and [seemingly] clean-cut families, 27-year-old Duggar tarnished his family name when reports surfaced that during his teenage years, Duggar had sexually assaulted several young women, four of whom were his siblings. Since the allegations, Josh has not faced any legal consequences and the family has actually rallied around him.

Suge Knight

Let’s be real, Suge Knight probably should have been in prison a long time go. For more than 20 years, he’s wreaked havoc on people all around the music industry, and he’s shown absolutely no mercy. Well, he may not be in prison yet, but it looks like all of his bad behavior may finally be catching up with him. Earlier this year, Knight was arrested after being involved in a hit and run in which he allegedly followed a car after an argument, and struck two people.

After finally undergoing the transition she’s been wishing for for most of her life, Caitlyn Jenner almost lost it all after being involved in a car accident which resulted in someone’s death. Although it has since been decided that she will not be charged with a felony, many believe that her inattentiveness behind the wheel should have resulted in serious punishment.

R. Kelly

Kelly was once one of the most well-respect names in the entire music industry .However, all of that changed in 2002 when a video surfaced which allegedly showed Kelly having sex with – and urinating on – an underage girl. It was later revealed that this may not have been the only instance in which Kelly was accused of being involved in a similar situation. Although Kelly was eventually acquitted the allegations severely damaged his career, and many believe he should be behind bars.

Just after winning the Super Bowl in 2000, Ray Lewis found himself facing some serious legal issues after he was connected to the stabbing deaths of Jacinth Baker and Richard Lollar. In a trial that caused millions of people to question whether or not celebrities were seen different in the eyes of the law, Lewis was put on probation and never served a day of prison time.

After allegations that he had drugged and sexually assaulted a number of women, Cosby has been facing a lot of public scrutiny. Things got even worse when a deposition leaked in which Cosby admitted to buying drugs with the intent to use them on women in order to have sex with them; however, even with all of the evidence, Cosby has yet to even be arrested.
